About Atlantic Equity

Atlantic Equity is an independent, Ireland-based research journal written and run by Craig Evans, a Financial Mathematics student at University College Dublin.

The journal explores a range of financial topics including equity research, quantitative research, capital structure and transactions, as well as broader market and macroeconomic trends. Analysis is grounded in structured reasoning and quantitative methods, with an emphasis on documenting problem-solving approaches and research processes while supplementing academic learning with real-world applications.

Atlantic Equity is written for experienced market followers and fellow students with a serious interest in finance. In addition to written research, the site features conversations with professionals across the industry, providing practical perspectives that intersect with the analytical themes explored throughout the journal and offering insight into real career paths within finance.

This project also serves as a public record of my learning and progression, reflecting how my ideas evolve over time as my experience and understanding deepen.

I hope you enjoy your reading of Atlantic Equity and find the research here to be of interest and value. If you wish to help support my research please see the ‘How to Support‘ page or for any queries and feedback please see the ‘Contact page‘.
